Screw-in temperature probe types CH, CB in CBD don’t have the extra external pocket sleeve and are therefore used in systems where immersion sleeves are already installed.
If the probe is mounted without the immersion sleeve we have to drain the medium out of the system before replacing the probe. The main advantages of probes without external pocket sleeve are fast response time to temperature changes of the medium and short mounting length (up to 50 mm).
Optional implementation of temperature transducer with 4…20mA current output is possible with the CB and CBD types.
Screw-in temperature probe types CVH, CVB in CVBD have the second external pocket sleeve and are used in systems where immersion sleeves are required.
If there is a probe malfunction we only have to replace the measuring insert while the pocket sleeve remains screwed in place. In this case no medium drainage is needed.
Temperature probe type CVBD has elevated form B terminal head and can be used for measuring higher temperatures.
Optional implementation of temperature transducer with 4…20mA current output is possible with the CVB and CVBD types.
